PLAN B (MCPS Code Yellow)

Montgomery County Schools decided to open late today, therefore the GISW is running on Plan B.

- Classes start at 9:55 am.
- Morning buses pick up students later and follow the Plan B bus schedule.
- Afternoon Program and Extended Care take place as scheduled.
- All afternoon and evening events take place as scheduled.

Nachdem Montgomery County heute einen versp盲teten Unterrichtsbeginn beschlossen hat gilt an der GISW Plan B.

- Der Unterricht beginnt um 9:55 Uhr.
- Die Schulbusse fahren morgens sp盲ter und folgen dem Plan B Buszeitplan.
- Das Nachmittagsprogramm und die Sp盲tbetreuung finden statt.
- Alle Nachmittags- und Abendveranstaltungen finden statt.

Our school is one of 140 German Schools Abroad located around the globe. Eight of these schools are in the US and in Canada. As a region we work closely with one another when it comes to Preschool Concepts, Preparation for the Abitur, crafting regional curricula and we are now also starting to collaborate in the area of marketing.

From March 21st to the 23rd, the annual regional network seminar took place at the German International School New York where board members, Heads of Schools and Directors of Administration of our region had productive exchanges and returned to their schools with new impulses.
