SES 2 Art Fundraiser

In connection with the art weeks, the SES2 class started a community project. We painted Paul Klee's picture - Castle and Sun - in many small sections. Each student painted one or two pictures which were joined together to create the final image. It is beautiful and unique. The artwork is being auctioned to raise funds for the organization , an inclusive community of people with and without intellectual disabilities. The organization was founded in 1964 by Canadian Jean Vanier and Frenchmen Philippe Seux and Raphaël Simi, two men with intellectual disabilities, in Trosly-Breuil, a village 80 kilometers north of Paris. These types of living arrangements now exist in many places around the world, including here in Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.  Please lend your support to the budding artists in SES2 by on their colorful masterpiece.
