1:15pm: Shuttle Bus Service starts
Parking at Norwood School opens
1:45pm: Shuttle bus service takes a break due to road closure for the runners
2:00pm: 5k Run Starts
2:15pm: Tour of our beautiful Preschool Rooms (Meeting Point: Upper Parking Lot)
2:30pm: Ticket Sales will start
2:30pm: Award Ceremony
3:00pm: Fun Run Starts
3:30pm: Shuttle bus service resumes
3:30pm: Speech by Head of School followed by Student Performance
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Band will play
6:30pm: Last Shuttle
Wheelchairs and strollers are allowed on the course. For the safety of all runners, we ask these participants to start towards the back of the running group. Dogs, bicycles, scooters, and roller skates are prohibited. The course will be reopened to traffic at 2:45 pm. Any remaining walkers will be instructed by course marshals to move to the sidewalks and obey standard pedestrian regulations. All cones and course signage will be removed from the course by 3:10 pm. Please plan accordingly.
Arrive early! Parking will be provided at the following locations starting at 12:30 PM – with a shuttle service to our school.

The top overall male and female runner will each win prizes.
Medals will be awarded to:
A team must have at least 4 members. Teams qualifying for awards are scored by the combined total time of the top 3 team participants but must have at least 4 participating team members to qualify.
All 1K Fun Run race participants are winners and will receive a special ribbon!!!
The 5k Oktoberfest Run & Fun Run is administered by Montgomery County Road Runners Club (MCRRC). Official results will be published on the MCRRC website by 4:00 pm on race day. Unofficial results, as available, will be posted at the Oktoberfest celebration.
IMPORTANT: The timing chip is on your bib. Please do not bend the bib as that could impede timing.
